The Union - Documentary

I've just watched this excellent documentary and I wanted to make sure you had a chance to see it too.
It gives a great, thorough historical, political and corporate perspective of the Marijuana and Hemp Industry in the United States.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.   By the way, we are still the ONLY industrialized country that doesn't grow their own Hemp as a natural resource. We are IMPORTING it to the tune now of $40 million per year.

Thank you; I'll be sure to watch this. One movie I think goes over the history and law and propaganda superbly is a film narrated by Woody Harrelson titled "Grass" you may have seen it - http://stagevu.com/video/evenvjqmzrbr

It has period music and art etc.- I highly recommend it.

Thank you for commenting on my blog by the way! I'm glad you like the article. Feel free to let me know what people, events attitudes etc. you might like me to focus my attention toward.

I even have a article called Who Is Rick Perry? that covers the drug war.

I'm in Texas, so I'm concerned that now that synthetics("K2") are banned here and elsewhere, it will come from Mexico, it will replace herbal medicine in the market, and become the new "threat" that justifies further banning/imprisoning. That's one reason I have a blog dedicated to synthetic cannabinoid news and such that I started as soon as it made the news. Doesn't surprise me that Texas being a big border state, passed the most comprehensive law banning these substances.
